We are OSINT Central. This document explain the guidelines regarding use of our marks, such as logos and name.

We call these guidelines our Mark Use Guidelines. By we, we mean OSINT Central and our affiliates, which we may also refer to as us. These Mark Use Guidelines (“Guidelines”) let you know about our rights with respect to its marks and when and how you can use them.

These Guidelines are part of the Terms of Service. By clicking to accept the Terms of Service on the Site or by continuing to use the Site or the Site Services on or after the effective date noted above, you accept and agree to this Guidelines.

To the extent permitted by applicable law and except as otherwise provided in the Terms of Service, we may modify these Guidelines without prior notice to you, and any revisions to these Guidelines will take effect when posted on the Site unless otherwise stated. So it’s important you check the site on a regular basis for updates.

To make these terms a little easier to understand, we capitalize certain terms and capitalizing them means they have a special meaning. The definitions section in this document defines some capitalized terms and others are defined throughout the Terms of Service, mainly in the User Agreement (look for quotation marks and bold font).

1. Our Marks

The OSINT Central name and logo are trademarks of OSINT Central. These Guidelines explain the terms under which you are allowed to use the our “Marks”, which for purposes of these Guidelines and the other Terms of Service means our trademarks, including the following:

Our Marks are among our most valuable assets. In order to preserve and strengthen our identity, these Guidelines provide conditions of use and clear instructions on proper use of the our Marks.

2. Use of our Logo Marks

Our Marks that are also logos are also referred to in these Guidelines as our “Logo Marks”. For example, our Logo Marks include:

You may only use our Logo Mark in situations that are considered fair-use by law. In other cases you may not use one of our Logo Mark unless you have a written license, granted by us, permitting you to use our Logo Mark.

If you have not been granted such a license, then you must not use, copy, modify, distribute, or post our Logo Mark for any reason. If you have such a license from us to use our Logo Mark, you must use our Logo Mark only as licensed and only in accordance with these Guidelines.

3. Use of other Marks

You may use our Marks other than the Logo Marks descriptively, provided you adhere to these Guidelines, or as otherwise permitted by law.

Descriptive use includes instances where you are referring to OSINT Central or our services, such as “I registered on OSINT Central’s website today”, “I attended OSINT Central’s OSINT Research For Good Summit”, or “OSINT Central’s services have helped find important data.”

Keep these principles in mind as well:

• Your use should never mislead anyone to believe OSINt Central sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement of your company, products, or services exists when it does not.
• When referring to OSINT Central, use the OSINT Central name in a plain text font and format only.
• OSINT Central always appears as "OSINT Central," never as "OsintCentral", “OSINT CENTRAL”, "OSINT-Central", or similar.

4. Prohibited use of our Marks

Unless you have written permission from us, you must never use any of our Marks:

• On any letterhead, business card, or signature block;
• As part of your business name or a domain name;
• As part of a user ID, including on OSINT Central or social media;
• In association with any third-party trademark in a manner that might create potential confusion as to the ownership of our Mark;
• In any manner that suggests or could lead someone to believe you are acting on behalf of or in association with OSINT Central or that we have endorsed or sponsored your product or services; or
• Outside of your relationship with us, except as permitted by us in writing.

Even if you have permission to use of of our Logo Marks, you must never use any of our Logo Marks:

• That has been reproduced from an unauthorized artwork;
• That has been modified, including color specifications, position and relative size of the letterings;
• That has been modified to use negative or reverse “drop-out” reproduction;
• Tightly confined in a band or bar; or
• With other seals, logos, or other marks of other entities.

5. Use of copyrighted works

Almost all pages on our Service contain third-party content owned by other Users of our Service. As a result we cannot grant you permission to use screenshots that include third-party content.

You may only use screenshots of the service or videos of navigation of the Site (as defined in the Site Terms of Use) as long as no third-party content of any other User, Sponsor or Researcher is visible in them without our written permission.

Rights to screenshots of user profiles, communications, and job products on OSINT Central may need to be obtained from the User.

You may not use such screenshots anywhere for any purpose without written authorization.
